Please spare a thought for these children who have to undergo chemotherapy you really don’t know how lucky you are, please play generously with that in mind, absolutely all proceeds will go to this charity and proof will be provide.

The money will go particularly to the support ward J94 which is a children’s 9 bed facility within the cancer treatment centre (Bexley wing)

The Bexley Wing is a state-of-the-art young adult ward for 18–24-year-olds, designed with the help of young people and their families who have been treated for cancer. The ward helps the young person and their family to retain some normality throughout their cancer treatment. There aren’t strict rules and regulations, so the ward has a relaxed, yet professional, feel.

On the ward

• 9-bedded ward is for both males and females with a mixture of single rooms and single sex bays
• social area including facilities for making snacks and drinks, playing or making music, TV, internet access at every bedside, games and a study room
• a small room to escape to if they want piece & quiet, as well as a sitting room for parents and families
• youth support coordinator who will organise activities on the ward, as well as activities and social occasions off the ward; this helps patients to get to know each other, make friends and get support
